Are you interested in participating in the SpotSpam project?
There are two ways in which you can support SpotSpam in supporting the international fight against spam.
- Help collecting reports in the SpotSpam database by operating a National Spambox!
- Request information from the database to make your legal action against spammers more successfull and register as a requesting party!
Below you find the draft agreements including appendices that would establish the legal basis for your participation. These documents are drafts and your input and suggestions are most welcome. Please get in touch with us via mail@spotspam.net
How to become a National Spambox:
- The easiest way is to use our standardised National Spambox, which you only need to localise. All documents and website contents are already there.
- If you wish to do things differently or integrate the reporting facility into your services or website, you are free to do so as long as the SpotSpam requirements are met.
- Read all about the specifications, operations, the flow of information and benefits and in the operations manual.
- Read and sign the National Spambox Agreement to participate.
- Participation is free of charge!
How to request data from the SpotSpam database:
- If you only wish to obtain information once, you are required to fill out a data request sheet and authenticate yourself.
- If you wish to request information from the database on a frequent basis, please sign the Data Request Agreement and authenticate yourself to SpotSpam only once.
- Data requests can be carried out more expediently and easier using the Simplified Data Request Sheet designed for project partners.
- Project Partners receive tailormade monthly reports which relate to the services offered by the partner (e.g. where the partner is a service provider) or the territory the partner is in charge of (e.g. where the partner is a National Regulatory Authority). These reports do not contain any personal data. They shall just be of assistance as potential starting points for investigations.
- Read all about the specifications, operations, the flow of information and benefits in the operations manual.
- Participation of free of charge!
For general information on how to operate the SpotSpam database, please see the Operations Manual.
